    2019 CISC Bowling Fun-5 Pin and 10 Pin

    Fee: $10 member and $15 non-member includes shoe rental and 2 hours fun bowling plus 1 hour of party afterwards!

    There will be prizes for high scores.


    Please register early to avoid disappointment and this event is capped at 18 participants. Registration close on February 1st at 06:00pm

    Please checking in by 02:45pm to get your shoes, for event start at 03:00pm

    Fee includes 2 hours of games, shoe rental and 1 hour of party afterwards! 

    For those who are not making the online payment, please make it to Debbie Chou or Kamiel Fransisco, instead!

    CISC has reserved lanes 9 and 10 for 5 pin, and lanes 11 and 12 for 10 pin. Please do not pay at front desk and look for Debbie Chou (10 Pin - Turn left as you come down the stairs) and Kamiel Fransisco (5 Pin - Turn right as you come down the stairs). The 5-Pin and 10-Pin lanes are separated. If you are planning to attend with young children, we advise you to register for 5-Pin bowling. 


    We will be rotating team members so everyone gets a chance to meet everyone.

    CISC is pleased to work with SAIT on providing information regarding their English Language Foundations (ELF) to new comers and new immigrants.

    Happy New Year dear members!

    CISC has been offered Hockey tickets to the Calgary Hitmen vs. Brandon Wheat Kings on Friday, March 1st at Scotiabank Saddledome. Game time 7pm. Tickets are only $12 each! That is half the price of normal tickets. We have achieved the minimum 20 people attending to take advantage of the deal!

    We will be seated together to represent Indonesia and there will be a flag ceremony. This is their 4th annual Multi-Cultural Night. CISC will send two people to participate on-ice with Indonesia's flag! 

    Meeting time and location will be sent via email once we receive the tickets. Please ensure you provide your email and contact number for us to reach you!

    your 2018 personal tax return?

    CISC together with Chartered Professional Accountants (CPA) Alberta is organizing a Tax Clinic on March 16, 2019 from 10:00am to 02:00pm at the New Central Library Meeting Room 2-05A800 3 St SE, Calgary, AB T2G 0E7

    CPAs and CPA candidates volunteer can help you complete your personal tax return FREE OF CHARGE. Don’t miss out on valuable tax credits and benefits that you may be eligible to receive by filing your tax return.

    This program is designed to support low income Albertans. To participate you must meet the following program’s income guidelines:

    • Total income per household unit for taxpayer:
      • With no dependant $30,000 or less
      • With dependants $50,000 or less
    • Examples of type of income include: T4 (Statement of Remuneration Paid), T4A (Statement of Pension, Retirement, Annuity and Other Income), T4A(OAS) (Statement of Old Age Security), T4A(P) (Statement of Canada Pension Plan Benefits), T4E (Statement of Employment Insurance and Other Benefits), T4RSP (Statement of RRSP Income) and T5007 (Statement of Benefits).

    • All interest income and investment income (U.S., Canadian, etc.) is considered as income and is subject to the income guidelines.

    • Those individuals who have self-employment income and rental income are not eligible for this program, regardless of the amount of income. Also, we are unable to complete returns for individuals who have passed away.
